Upon first inspection of the original shaky glass, sieve of a structure it was apparent our client needed a replacement Orangery. Our client needed a new lease of life and to no longer have a burden on her property in risk of failure. Working with our pre verified joinery group we formulated a plan for a new light area for our client to enjoy her summers evenings in on her south facing home.
Upon completion of manufacturing our team leapt into the cold January mornings to strip back the once filler filled orangery.
With a very quick turn around our team stripped back, reduced the external walls to the customer’s specifications and swiftly erected the newly constructed windows and doors. Our team moved onto weather proofing with slate roofing and lead works being completed with twin skylights for additional air flow during the summer months.
Once all structural and weather works had been completed twin layer insulation was provided, internally with Celotex and aerofoil being fitted before plaster boarding and plaster.
