A local building company contacted our team regarding a small extension in Woolpit ready for roofing. Our team relished creating a vaulted ceiling style roof. Being a vaulted ceiling, the main ridge line was a very large glulam beam which was to be seen from below.
The additional roof on the property was to be adjoined to two pre-existing roofs, this was to be executed by lead valleys at the back of the roof attached to a pitched roof and a falling lead box gutter to the side of the main house to ensure adequate water deflection. The roof was finished with period correct timber fascias and soffits to match the pre-existing building.
