This raised decking project at Great Cornard was for an elderly woman who needed a workable space for her retirement. Her daughter had converted a small annex adject to her initial property to care for her in her latter years. We were contacted to help with the issue of accessing the garden due to the high nature of the annex.
With patio and slabbing outside of their budget due to the high amount of materials needed to gain a level footing, the decision was made for a raised decking with a sleek handrail with spindles to ensure the safety of her elderly mother.
With January frost biting at our finger tips our team diligently set to work. The main request from the client and her mother was to ensure a disabled access ramp was to be built towards the main house in case of emergency’s in the future.
With a short time frame due to selling of another house, the team created a small drop down step into the garden and completed the project with time to spare.
